Inclement Weather

The decision to cancel school on inclement weather days involves many factors. Our primary goal is to have safe transportation for all students, parents, and staff. Every attempt will be made to announce school and office closings by 6 a.m. Closing information will be available as follows:

TV Stations: WNDU, WSBT, & ABC57
Radio Stations: WSJM
Social Media: District Facebook & Twitter Pages and all building Facebook and other building social media pages

School Messenger: An automated call, email, and text will generate the main phone number and email you have on file at your child's school.

In the event of a 2-hour delay, school start times at the high school, middle school, Discovery Academy, and Virtual Academy will be 9:42 a.m., and Mars and Sylvester Elementary will start at 10:40 a.m.
